TYPES OF RAFTING GRADE

GRADE 1- Gentle and calm waves with no hurdle as such, recommended for novice rafters and perfect for minors and family. Brahampuri to Rishikesh (9 kms) route are perfect for Grade 1 rafting.

GRADE 2- Waves bit turns into irregularity and have moderate difficulties but clear transition, recommended for novice rafters, children & families. Shivpuri to Rishikesh (16 kms) matches the Grade 2 rafting experience.

GRADE 3- The step further towards some challenges with high splashing waves and rapid flow of river obstructed by stones and have narrow passage, one can experience the white water rafting at this grade. The Grade 3 rafting is recommended for experienced rafters or elders those who know maneuvering techniques. Marine drive to Rishikesh (24 kms) encounter you to the white water rafting experience.

GRADE 4- Step up towards more strengthening and gurgling waves with extreme difficulties and hurdles, this route needs skilled rafters with maneuvering techniques and more strong endurance level. GRADE 5- Extremely unmanageable constituted with roaring waves, narrow passages, whirlpools, swift flow of river needed loads of endurance, swimming, maneuvering techniques. Only expert rafters are advisable for this grade rafting.
